Randy grew up in Lansdale, PA, and has lived in Charlottesville since 1999.  He and his wife, Karen, spent 10 years living on Long Island, battling traffic and raising a family. He attended Messiah College in Harrisburg, PA where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts in 1983.

His previous work with two major property/casualty insurance carriers, prior teaching experience, and current management responsibilities have prepared him well to be a knowledgeable and trusted mortgage professional.  He strongly believes that folks should know better so they can borrow smarter when it comes to a mortgage loan. This requires attentive listening, educating, and asking the right questions. He gives straightforward answers, and always provides transparency in the loan process, a much needed concept given the events in the current financial market. All options are explained, even if it means sending a client elsewhere.

He and his wife have been married over 20 years and have two children, Jake and Libby. He enjoys raquet sports, playing fantasy football, making people laugh, and eating Chick Fil-A. He also curls up with the Fannie Mae underwriting guidelines on cold winters nights.
