Michael was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, but fell in love with Virginia some twenty years ago when he attended the University. At UVa, he majored in Economics and Psychology. He also holds an MA in Communications from Regent University in Virginia Beach.

He brings a varied life experience to the mortgage process. In a prior career, Michael was an award-winning writer, working on The Discover Channel shows, The FBI Files, New Detectives and Diagnosis: Unknown. He also penned the video Bankruptcy Chapter 7: Your Rights & Responsibilities for the Virginia State Bar . The award-winning film instructs Virginians on the process of clearing debt.

Michael is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
